What to listen to?
Heee,
#2
If you do not know I will tell you now, I love music!!! So in what to listen to? I will tell you my favorite new discovered songs. I love just clicking around on Spotify!!
When I discover new songs I will put the Spotify code here and I will give some info about the song, oh and of course my opinion. You guys will soon discover what my music style is.

Stargazing - Kygo
Kygo's new music is pretty good, like his song "It Ain't Me" with Selena Gomez & "First Time" with Ellie Goulding.
At the beginning of the song Kygo starts of with the beautiful sound of a piano and then adds some different instrument while Justin Jesso is singing. Justin Jesso has a beautiful voice in this song. I had never heard of the guy before but this is a reason the keep an eye on him. At the beginning of the pre-chorus he hits a pretty high note, but it sounds good.
During the chorus a little beat is added and Kygo remixes Jesso's voice. After a few seconds of the remixed voice a real beat is added in Kygo's style, still with the remixed voice. It is really easy to learn the lyrics because it is not that complicated. The lyrics is not necessarily super powerful or something which makes you think, no it is just simple. Well simple, I could never write lyrics but still I think you know what I mean.
I do really love the cover of this song, the picture I mean. I do not really know how you call that, but it is beautiful. It is so beautiful because it is an amazing picture of the Northern Lights. The fact that he used the Northern Lights for the cover is pretty nice, not just because they are beautiful but also because Kygo is from Norway. The country where you can see these amazing lights.
Stargazing is not just a single, but it is a whole album. I still have to check out the other songs, but my expectations are high.
Good Old Days - Macklemore & Kesha
Oh I love Macklemore. If I every has the chance to go to a concert of his, I will go. I had a chance to be honest a few years ago, when Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were still a thing. I hate it, but then again hate it that they broke up, their songs are so good. Not just the music, but their lyrics are amazing they make sense and they make you think. If Macklemore & Ryan Lewis or right now just Macklemore releases a new album you really have to listen to it, not hear it and do something else at the same time. No you have to listen.
Song do not often make me emotional, well this song did. Just because the lyrics made me realize some things, some important thing. But I am not explaining them to you because everyone should create there own feeling with a song.
The base of this song is a beautiful piano and lyrics starts of with the chorus. The chorus is song is sung by Kesha and she does a wonderful job, I love that she is back.
To be honest this song makes me think about "Same Love" & "Growing Up". I am kind of happy that is does, because Macklemore made those songs with Ryan Lewis and I love those together.
This song tells me to appreciate everything around me right now and to be smart, because being smart at this age can be hard sometimes.

Real Life - Duke Dumont
This song was introduced to me by a friend when we were driving to the Bloomington Homecoming Dance. This song can be classified under tropical house music, at least I think so. Of course I am not a specialist when it is about music. I just really love to give my opinion.
During the entire song the beat is pretty steady, it is not that the beat suddenly takes over and has the lead. The singer has a very pretty voice and I can really enjoy the sound. I do not really know who she is but I think her name is NAATIONS.
There is not really a lot to say about the cover of the song. It is really clean and simple. For some songs that is good enough, just simple and clean who needs all the extras.
This is the perfect to jam on with some friends in the car. That is what we did when we were on our way to Bloomington High.
After listening to this song twice I already knew the majority of the lyrics, I LOVE THAT. I found out (by the way) that Duke Dumont is not some stranger. I had never heard of the name before, but when I looked him up I found all these songs like "I Got U" which I knew. Always funny to find out that kind of stuff.
Duke Dumont also made an acoustic version of this song. In this version you can hear NAATIONS voice so much better. In this version you can hear her sound.
# 1

Staying Up - Matoma
He has a new song!!! Yes, one of my favorite DJ has a new song together with The Vamps. This is their second collaboration and it turned out pretty good. Their first collaboration is called "All Night" and I think it is a song which you can jam on! Just sing along and dance crazy. Their new song is just like that, the lyrics is easy so you can sing along super easy and fast after you hear the song once of twice.
If you know Matoma and his song you can probably tell that the picture for the song is typically him. All the pictures for his songs are in this genre and it works pretty good for him I think. The pictures kind of give me a tropical vibe and that is exactly how people would describe his music.
Matoma is not only a fun artist but also a super nice person! I met him at his concert in Amsterdam, because one of my friends could get us backstage. That was so awesome! He is such a nice person and is was not that we just took a picture and then he went one with his stuff, no he really talked to us. So he has respect for his fans and because of that I have respect for him.
Too Good At Goodbyes
Oh I am so happy that Sam Smith is back. The British artist has a way of singing that really hits me, because of that I really love his songs. And because I love his songs the majority of thee time I kind of had high expectations for this song. Well it turned out great.
"Too Good At Goodbyes" is a emotional love song. In my opinion if you listen to this song for the first time you really have to sit down and listen.
A fun thing about this song is that it isn't hard to learn the chorus. I always like that about songs, if I can sing the chorus along like after the second time I heard the song.
Sam Smith's voice is also nice to listen to. His voice is very relaxed or something I can not really describe it. I do know that he can give me goose bumps. Especially with lyrics like this.

Without you - Avicii
Yes, yes, yes! Not only Sam Smith is back since a long time. No, Avicii is back too! Avicii was super populair in I think 2012, back then I was in 6th grade I think and on every party that I had a song of Avicii was played. So for me this is a little bit nostalgic.
In the first few second you can really hear Avicii's style and you know that he is back. You can easily sing along with the chorus, which is also the powerful part of the song and for me that makes the song more attractive.
To be honest, I have never heard from Sandro Cavazza, the singer of the song, but he does a really good job. His voice fits really good into this song and the collaboration with Avicii was a good idea.
At the beginning Sandro's voice has something soft to it and than the first chorus comes along and he breaks out of his shell, kind of.
This is a nice song to dance on and sing along with on parties and stuff. Avicii did a good job and he made a great come back. I am super glad he is back and I hope he can bring us more exciting stuff.
Pizza - Martin Garrix
So people who follow Matrin Garrix on Instagram or Snapchat know that that guy loves pizza. Wow I have seen pizza in his Snapchat story for so many times.
To be really honest, when I heard this song for the first time I was kind of disappointed. With this song Martin Garrix is kind of took a step back from EDM, because he used a lot of classical music. It has its pro's and cons, but at first I really had to adjust to it because the music he made before was not like that. Right now I do like it.
Martin Garrix opens this song with (I think) violins and that is so beautiful and it give me goosebumps. After a few seconds he puts the beat in and builds the beat up. When the beat drops you can go crazy and jump around, because Pizza is a good song for jumping around.
After the dance part, he starts again with building up the music. From relaxed to a drop. This drop is the same as the first one. Personally I think it is fun when you know where the beat hits because than you can go totally crazy.
The end is mostly classical with a little beat. Martin Garrix lets the sonf finish with a beautiful violin.
